NASA To Reveal Europa’s Secrets On Monday
Europa, the icy moon, is one of the 67 moons of Jupiter. It gets a higher place in observation as it contains vast icy oceans. Oceans mean H2O, which is the strong participant in the requirements for life. Humans have always been excited to find life outside Earth. So, this time, Europa gets the limelight.
NASA is going to host a teleconference on Monday, September 26, in which it will be revealing surprising new findings about Europa, along with some pictures. These photos have been taken with the help of Hubble Space Telescope.
Astronomers participating in the teleconference to present the results are:
- Paul Hertz – Director of the Astrophysics Division at NASA Headquarters in Washington
- William Sparks – Astronomer with the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore
- Britney Schmidt – Assistant professor at the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta
- Jennifer Wiseman – Senior Hubble project scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland
